There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. Hello,

I replaced my left fender today and I'm now getting a VSS Fault error code C0031. I can't find a description for that exact code. Is anyone familiar with this code?

Didn't have time to troubleshoot today. I'm assuming it has to deal with wheel sensors? I'll look again tomorrow but I triple check to make sure it went back together correctly even took pics of cabling before taking it apart.

Any recommendations for troubleshooting?

Note: To anyone who is going to replace fender those tabs break very easily! Luckily that was the piece of the fender that I was replacing.

only your 2nd post, would help to know year / model of Spyder. so many variations. you can even put that info in your signature line, on your profile page
oops, i see you posted in Ryker area, still can add info to your profile page

All great points, I updated the garage section of profile but I guess it needs approval. This is for a 2021 Ryker 900.

So I gave this another shot today. Unfortunately, I was unable to complete the testing method provided in the Ryker Maintenance manual because it requires extremely small test leads to test the pin outs on the VCM cable end against the VSS sensor end. I hate going to the dealer for anything but I just don't have the tools to complete the diagnostic and everything I checked looks identical to the other side.

Thanks for the suggestions.

Quick update, after about month finally got my bike back...

Apparently, the speed sensor needed to be replaced for it stop throwing the VSS Fault code.
