Sorry it is all one piece - bags and trunk and takes two people to lift it off the back. We did it when we installed CB.

Roger, did you take it off by yourself?Believe it or not removing the entire unit isn't a big deal.
I did it twice putting on my ACS suspension.

I can answer that because I did it. The answer is 'Yes'. Just make sure you'vedisconnected everything before you do it. There will be a point where it'll be very difficult to put it back in place if you find you've forgotten to disconnect a wiring harness or something.
This is my thread from April of 2010: http://www.spyderlovers.com/forums/showthread.php?18347-CB-Installation-(Graphic-Pictures-WARNING!)
I did have help in reinstalling it. When you're behind it with your arms full & back urging you to finsh it up, you really need a set of eyes on the front side telling you how to position it.

Mark,
Thanks for the link that helps a lot. And that looks like the explosion of parts when I put the CB in the Goldwing.
