• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Removal of Sports Rack on 2013 ST Limited to access seat bolts.

Just picked up a Demo ST with rack all ready fitted. Need to remove it to take off the seat to fit a riders backrest. Removed the four bolts under the lid on top and one screw holding the splash guard underneath. the whole rack is loose but I do not know how to disconnect the cable assembly which seems to be stopping the final removal of the rack. Do you have to take the splash guard completely off underneath to access the cable to disconnect? Any help would be appreciated.:opps:

Have you removed the 2 hex head bolts that hold the bottom cover under the sport rack. Hard to explain it, but if you run your fingers along the underside of each side of the sport rack you should locate them, once you remove that cover the cable will be easy to remove.
I hope this helps.
