• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Hi,

Do you have any ideas how to setup the wire from the spyder rt-s to regular trailer connector ?

I have the regular box that i had on my GS but now the RT-S got one left ,one right Flasher signal, one Left , one right brake signal, Position wire, ground.

That my trailer with my old GS.

I purchased a BRP RT-622 trailer tongue harness (P/N 710002029), to make an adapter from the RT-S trailer connector to the connector on my aftermarket trailers. You could also purchase the proper Deutsch plug and terminal to either make an adapter or rewire your trailer. Then to just select one of the Spyder brake light terminals to operate both brake lights on the trailer, and forget about the second.

Trailer harness

From my experience, purchasing the BRP hitch is the most cost effective, since it comes with the hookup for the RTS. As of yet the harness cannot be purcchased separately. My mechanic took the harness and wired it directly to the corresponding wires on my camper trailer. I've only pulled it about 50 miles, but I've had no codes or problems show up. I'll give it a further test on the way to Cuba, mo. in a couple of weeks.welcome
