• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Reevu Helmets finally here...

Bottom line.

What would BATMAN WEAR?:clap::p

LOL.

I for one see the extreme value in knowing for sure who is following me. Hell, I am going to just wear it at the mall. LOL

This is one of those items that I can't buy unless I actually can try it on and see if the rear view mirror adds any real value.

:agree:

I'm more interested in the other qualities (or lack of) of this helmet. For all we know the rest of it could be crap... bad fit... features, etc......

What amazes me is they didn't just sell the technology to one of the big helmet makers.

Could be neat--- but gotta be comfortable and safe too.

That review is from 2005...wonder how much has changed since...I guess we'll see when it goes through the DOT testing...curious if they'll go Snell as well? Cost might be a limiting factor...again, most all full-face shields will protect you the same way...how much will that mirror function end up costing? Also, any helmet I buy now MUST have a drop-down sun visor...so much better for sunny day rides...I realize that full face helmets vary in price...I use a HJC IS-16 and love it...it only cost about 125.00...does everything I need it to (love that visor!) and it is rated quite well...if this helmet comes in at 400-500.00, it will have a very small customer base...I appreciate the merit of having a mirror that sees directly behind you, but I really don't have any blind spots with the setup I have now anyway...price would be the biggest factor for me...I replace my helmets every 2-3 years as the materials breakdown and you shouldn't use the same helmet for years and years anyway...

Bones,
Drop on a pair of shades and wash your hair more frequently, you'll get at least a full 5 years out of your helmets. As for the blind spots go, you sure that's not a bald spot! :roflblack::roflblack::roflblack:

Love you man, light all 8 candles?

I wear contacts when I ride so I don't have to wear glasses or shades...the convenience of a sun visor in the helmet is really a plus....as far as bald spots, no way! I have great hair (thank goodness!)...I'd look really funny if I was bald...the pinhead that I am! Oh, missed a day or two but got most all the candles burnt! It's fun in my office as I play really great Christmas music...Bing Crosby, Elvis, Sinatra, Nat King Cole, etc....my patients laugh as they know I'm a tribe-member! Still, love the season...I do charity gift-wrapping on Christmas Eve...raise a lot of money...so much fun...then, of course, off for some Chinese food! Wanna see Avatar with the wife sometime soon too...we got 21.2 inches of snow on Saturday! No Spyder riding for a while!

Just saw Avatar..GREAT MOVIE
I'm going to see it again only this time in 3 D in an Imax theater. If you've ever scuba dived in the tropics you'll really love the graphics and animation. I give it...:thumbup::thumbup::thumbup:

Kind of a cross between Dances with Wolves and Pocahantas...two of my favorites.

I'm sure Aviator was good, but aren't you referring to Avatar?

it was late, cut me a break :gaah:

Done...the Aviator wasn't bad though, just not in 3-D...good thing you can edit posts around here!

I just saw the movie too...in 3D, like it's supposed to be seen..why the heck would you see it without the 3D...that's one of the big selling points! What a flick...a bit short on story but it more than makes up for it in other areas...totally liberal flick...themes throughout the whole movie...regardless, it was a great movie and I recommend it!

We missed the 3-D version by 20 minutes...had the family and didn't want to wait around...I'll see it later in 3-D.
