While down in Branson Missouri on a brief trip, I found that the Branson Missouri Police Department are now using SPYDERS as patrol vehicles. I spoke to a local area business about them and they told me that the department has $88,000.00 invested between the two Spyders.
While down in Branson we also ran into 3 or 4 other Spyder Ryders, but sadly I left my Spyder back in KS due to rains that were around when we had left.
No pics- sorry- and not further details other than they were black and white!

BRANSON, Mo. -- The Branson Police Department has added two CanAm Spyder motorcycles to its fleet of patrol vehicles.
The department will be the first in Missouri to use these three-wheeled vehicles for police work.
Chief Kent Crutcher says the department started looking at the option of patrol motorcycles last year, as part of its efforts to offer more community-oriented policing strategies.
Officers ultimately decided on the CanAm Spyder vehicles because of several factors.
Crutcher says the vehicles "offer better stability on the hills of Branson, and better safety ratings than traditional two-wheeled motorcycles."
Police say the time required to train the officers in the operation of the vehicles is less than traditional motorcycles.
Six officers have been selected to receive in-house training before beginning to patrol the Branson streets on the new vehicles.
