• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Recall

Is the recall only for 2013 or does it include older models such as the 2012 RT? Anyone know just what the recall kit includes? What part or parts the recall kit is for?
AZCowboy :banghead: I get the gas fumes on my 2012 RT Limited and I don't over fill it. The fumes come and go. The last time today I ran over 70 miles none stop and it was only 95 out were I was. When I stopped the guys came running over wondering were the gas leak was on my bike and I was down to a quarter of a tank??? :banghead:

The recall for the heat shield and insulation is only for the 2013 ST and RT.

Strong gas fumes

Goes anyone know we're the strong gas fumes are coming from on the 2012 RT's? I find the smell strong on the right side all the time. I put back the old gas cap and made no difference. I used soap & water spray and found no leaks. RJ

They usually come from the emissions canister. Most common reason is fuel that has overflowed to the canister from overfilling or filling too fast. Once the canister is saturated, it takes months for the fumes to go away. The problem could also indicate a faulty purge valve, purge valve solenoid, or vacuum lines...or even a damaged vent line. Those problems are generally accompanied by engine performance problems, however.

Can-Am BBQ

Really, what makes you so sure?
Hello I have a 2012 Spyder RT Limited. I like the picture of the Can-Am on fire. Could I get a copy of it? My email is [email protected] if I can. If you ever have the hot right foot problem I have a fix for that. In the Northern high desert we get highs of 100 to 120 plus so getting rid of the hot foot is a big deal not sure were you live.
Thanks. :f_spider: RJ
