• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Recall done BRP call and extra insulation

I got it but my plan is not to ad switches or wiring I would rather do it manually.

Gotcha, I'm interested to see if it pulls a measure able amount of heat out.

W how low these are to the ground I wonder if they have some suction going on that would help.

After ( if I can) install them I am going to do the same ride I used above to test the temps with the same ambients. Actual air temp was ~ 80 degrees but I use the LCD ambient temp as my measurement. They will hang down 11/16 about the same as my Spyderpops skid plate. I hope to have it done next week. I am pretty sure I can do one side but the evap hose on the right side may present a problem. I also may have to cut them down a few inches I will play it all by ear. Really though what I have done so far has made a big decrease in several areas.

Agreed, but if you really want to get rid of some heat, get some air moving...either upwards or backwards. Beyond that, start close and work to the more remote things (like the CAT) only if necessary.

Yes, you're probably right. I am surprised that the OEM wind deflectors divert the air around the upper vents, so I am removing those tonight. From what I understand, with the adjustable deflectors, having the air run over the upper vents will help draw air up and out of the tupperware. Again, I don't know if it is true, but that is what I read elsewhere. I'm new to this bike and still learning and trying to figure things out ......

Lots of people remove them. It is not cheap. By the way BRP calls them the "Primary Muffler" in the parts list. I do not disagree and have posted elsewhere they should have a full shield above them just like a car does.

$450 to remove it! Yeah, I don't know. I was just looking for credible ideas for cutting the heat down.
