Riding a 2016 Limited. After only 1500 miles the soft/hard adjustment quit working. After several days in the shop and several calls to the factory, it was discovered that a diode wrapped as part of the main harness had gone bad. The factory techs didn't know it was in the harness and it is not on the wiring diagrams. A new harness was the cure. Must have been a lot of hair pulling on that one. Just FYI.

There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

I hate it when they do something like that and don't put it in the prints. Wastes a lot of trouble shooting time. Thanks for the warning.
I will make an assumption that the diode was across the coil of relay R1, but stuck up into the harness where it can not be seen. Do you know if that is an accurate assumption?

I had the inline fuse go on my 440 and I just could not find the jam fuse ( which end up to be a wire )

I don't know how carefully they read the schematic or if the diode was across relay R1. I do know they were desperate enough to take a harness off a new RT and put it on mine.
