• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Random thought for the day

Please use the 'Attach Files' button below the text field to add links/pics, then 'Insert' and upload the pics/files as thumbnails rather than full-sized images.

That way, those who wish to see the full-sized image can click on the thumbnail to expand it, but if you load full-sized images directly into the post, or even if you just 'Attach' the files and don't bother to finish the job by inserting the thumbnail, some potential viewers WILL NOT be able to see it at all, especially those viewing on small screen devices/phones, and many others may need to scroll left/right &/or up/down just to see your image - IF they can even open the thread!!

It's not a big ask, but it will help more viewers see your post if you do! (y)

Just testing the attach files buttons

OK, that works fine, but don't hit the back arrow on the browser to go back to thumbnail size. The back button will go all the way back to the first post on the thread.

Just click the ESC (escape) button on the keyboard and it will jump back to small thumbnail size.
The Backspace key will also do it.

Or just click anywhere on the enlarged pic, that'll take it back to thumbnail size too! (y)

That don't work on mine. Might work for Windows, I don't know. It does not work on Linux Ubuntu.
Hmmm... Sorry 'bout that! It works with Windows & various browsers; Edge, Firefox, Duckduckgo...

But it looks like that won't help Linux users too much?!

Not really a problem, most Linux users would know to try the Escape key or the Backspace key. It could also have something to do with the browser I have installed. I have some very effective ad blockers and pop up blockers. They not only block most of the ads and pop ups, they can also interfere with some of the normal functions in ways that Windows would not.

I actually like the new format, and if it is more secure, then so much the better.
Thanks for keeping up the seurity!
