• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Random thought for the day

Google search hits debunk it. Druggies aren't inclined to poke their needles into stuff that will dull them.

Still, there are plenty of other reasons not to use public restrooms. I know for a fact and avoid them when ever possible.

I worked in service stations when I was in high school and saw some of it first hand, from the handle of a mop.

Must be at least ten times as bad in modern times.

That sentiment will severely limit a person's touring range unless there are a lot a secluded trees on the route! :yikes:

No need for a tree, just a medium size bush. Plenty of places to pull over in most all the national forests. Not many restrooms at all on the Blue Ridge Parkway. I made it through there several times without busting a bladder. Large rocks, game trails, plenty of places on most secondary roads. I try to stay off the Interstates anyway, unless I have to get some place in a hurry. Campground or Motel at night. I will use public restrooms if I have to, but avoid them if possible.

Living with it....... Many years of off-roading twice a week. Quads, side-by-sides, Jeeps, etc. At rest stops, ladies went one way and men went the other. And sometimes the bushes (cactus) might be a bit "thin". But we were always respectful and acted like the adults that we were. Living that phase of my life has taught me the real meaning of "public restroom".

Must have been a naughty picture!

Fixed it. It’s actually illegal to ride a horse (or even a bicycle) while intoxicated in South Dakota. Know of both. Guy in Wall, SD had his horse trained to take him home, all he had to do was get on…. still got the DUI.
