I am from the no tv generation. For a period of time not even a radio. (no electricity). My favorite activity was reading and still is.I didn't start riding until I was 42.

As far as a slide rule is concerned, mine is somewhere around but I ain't going looking for it.:roflblack:

How did the world survive? The Empire State Building, the Golden Gate Bridge, the Boeing 707, Apollo spaceship, and on & on all built with the 3 digit accuracy of a slide rule! :thumbup: Now kids think if you don't have at least a 10 digit result it ain't no good! :dontknow:

Me too..... Then I went on to spend my entire adult life working in Banking and Finance. My HS Math teachers would be appalled.

I have to laugh at that. After HS my first job was in the accounting department of an Insurance Company. Go figure!
