• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Random thought for the day

The wife says I need three coffees in the morning.
One to kickstart my heart.
And one for each side of my brain.
If I only have two we don't know what started and what didn't

Nah, that one's not really an 'Engineering Flowchart', or at least, it's certainly not one designed by a true 'Engineer', cos there's no FBH involved!! :lecturef_smilie:

So it's probably only what the Systems Analyst who was sent to computerise the work-flow &/or process THOUGHT the Engineer was doing when they were problem solving, but since the Analyst never actually visited the job site or workshop & so had never actually SEEN an FBH in action, the Analyst totally skipped that most important step & use of a critical problem solving tool! :gaah: :banghead:

FBH? You've got me on that one!

FBH?? It's a fairly common Engineering term over here, as it was over there back when I used to visit Todd Seattle.

It's just a 'Freakingly Big Hammer'! Engineers, especially those of the 'Black Hand' variety, tend to use them often.

I think I used to know it back in my engineering days, but as with all things over 5 years ago it has slipped into oblivion! :banghead:
