• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Radiator Fan - Pre 2014

So Roger....what? Did I get you thinking? No response to the idea?
Or are you thinking about doing it ;)

Bob

So Bob, Jerbear and I will be up to your house and I'll tear into how that reverso-fan thing actually works.
What tools should I bring besides my 4 lb mall and 30 inch Stillson?

You better bring a sawzall and some plywood to patch any holes you have to make, while exploring . . . :roflblack:

I think some 2013 owners may want a product like this.
BUT you are correct. Someone needs to test it manually to see if it helps or not before R&D goes into something like that.
I also do not have a heat problem so I would have no desire to do it either. But if someone wanted to make a product (if it worked) I think they would have a lot of sales :)

Bob

Is it just me, or has anyone thought about where the 2014 radiators are located in relation to the 2013 location. I've only seen photos of the front of the 2014s with the fans showing, which looks to be more forward to me than the 2013s (??? not sure). If you just reverse flow of the 2013 fan, where is the air going? Is there a good flow forward, and a short enough distance to get the hot air out the front?

Don't see a problem with forward flow. Providing the spyders forward motion is 20 mph or less. That's just my opinion however. Inflow shouldn't be a problem either. Tho, those who have cut holes in their swops would likely pull engine heat. If, they reversed the fan flow. Jmo

Driving directions

by adding a simple Accelerometer you know the driving direction and the acceleration.

No need to tap into the computer.
