There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. Question regarding BEST warranty...

Alignment Specialist
I recently purchased the BEST warranty...which happens to be going up in price almost daily...

Anyway, for those who have it, did you receive a package with info. about it...like a phone number in case your bike breaks down and you need a lift for it?

I have a completed BRP form....but there is no info on it...no phone numbers, etc...it was purchased from where I bought my bike so it's legit...I just haven't gotten any info yet...how long does it take to get the info?

Took us quite a while to get it, and I had to lean on the dealer. I'll look at the card and PM the number to you tomorrow.

BEST contact #'s

Service and Support Line: Canada 819-556-3366
USA 715-848-4957
Emergency Roadside Assisitance: 1-866-477-1415

Takes a while for BRP to mail out the "BEST Card" which has your name and your Spyder's VIN on it. It also has the roadside assisant number and a few other numbers on it.

M2/others,

What is a while? BRP seems to be notoriously slow with things...the bike has full road-side assistance from the minute you sign the paperwork yet if it takes them 2-3 months to get the card to me, you know darn well that if something happens, they ain't gonna be there!

They should do the warranty cards immediately...it's expensive for the owner to get the extended warranty and they should take it as seriously as we owners do!

I'll write down the emergency number for now, but I'm not sure if that matters if I'm not in the system yet...

Anyone ever have to use it yet?

You probably are in the system. We were, long before we got the card. I heartily agree that BRP has miles to go before the paperwork end of this deal is even remotely close to being satisfactory. If you can get your roadside assistance card from your insurance company in a few days, you should be able to do the same here. Also, dealers should be able to give you the number or a card as soon as you sign up. My dealer had to hunt around in BRP's computer system, then finally call BRP, before he could get me the stinking phone number, weeks after I paid for the service.

It did take us 2 or 3 months to get the BEST + warranty card from BRP. However, our dealer assured us that our warranty information was in the BRP system and, with our personal information (name, address, etc. ?) or with the Spyder VIN, any dealership could verify our coverage and handle warranty issues for us. We've never had to put the coverage to the test.

Amazing...I find it ridiculous that the form you fill out has no contact information on it...they'll sign you up but make it hard to function on the other side...even the dealership was surprised there wasn't information on the warranty sheet...
