Once this is installed does it allow you to bluetooth your phone to your headset also. I wasn't sure how this would work.

There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.
Question for those with the Bluetooth Dongle.

I guess it might depend on the kind of headset you use.
If you have the Sena SMH10 headset, then, yes, you can still receive phone call via Bluetooth.
The phone will override any other device (radio via dongle, GPS or intercom) while a conversation is active.

You did not share what type of headset you have. Most headsets can pair with more than one BT device. With a Sena headset for example you would pair with the dongle as your stereo music device and pair with your phone in handsfree mode, with 2 hands free mode slots left for other devices.

The scala g4 will connect to the phone with out any other dongle, It is blue tooth at least mine were. If you have a manual it is described in it on how to do. If you don't have manual you could get on scala web cite.That is if your phone is blue tooth.

My question is "If I get the bluetooth dongle will the scala connect to both the phone and the dongle/radio?"
