• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Im pretty new to my Spyder but have about 750 miles in a month so far on my '15 RT-S. when driving a bit fast in some twists what will occur first.... inside front wheel lifting, or rear tire want to break a bit ? To me when I am powering through a turn it almost feels like the rear wheel wants to drift a bit......just trying to figure what I can expect when I might push it a bit to hard

It depends on your steering input. nice and slow and steady the rear should almost get loose and the nanny stop it. Jerky hard input will cause the tire to try and lift. Again the nanny should stop it before it lifts.

Here's the thing....

Two things will happen...one the nanny may retard ignition and your spyder will sputter and loose power or she will apply the brakes putting an end to the airborne wheel (if any) or slowing you down and keeping you between the lines. :roflblack::banghead:

But there are limits to the stupidity that even she can correct.
If you're pushing it that hard: think about the folks that'll be visiting you in the Hospital! :shocked:

It may sound like I am being wild, but my whole life I have pushed everything to the limit. I have already learned to be very smooth on the handlebar input, far from jerky or uncontrolled and certainly not stupid. What Im referring to is actually very subtle feeling about the rear tire feeling like it's starting to slightly getting loose especially when increasing power through the turns. Being new to 3 wheels I'm just asking for input, not trying to get crazy. Where I live in the Mountains there are not many straight roads and constant twisties are the norm.

It sounds like the babysitter system will not let me get to push it beyond what it thinks is safe.

Push too hard in a corner, and Nanny will start reducing power to the rear wheel, and applying the brakes as She sees fit.
It's supposed to catch us before we do anything monumentally stupid. nojoke

Have only experienced "nanny" two times. Both were hydroplaning issues, and now I have that figured out. Don't drive through inches of water an + 55. :thumbup:

Had a bunch of :ani29::spyder2::f_spider: and what I think are a respectable amount of miles since 2008. I like my rides conservative, but will not criticize those who like to push the envelope a bit. :yes:
