Premeier Edition-Looks like March 31st just turned into April 30th

Just got this fax from a friend of mine that is waiting on his Spyder.

Looks like if you got your order in before July 16 2007 you will get it by March 31 2008

If your order was placed between July 16 2007 and September 30 2007 you will get your Spyder by April 30 2008

Orders after September 30 2007 will get them "according to the date shown on the ceriticates themselves" : :dontknow: :spyder:

What about if my :spyder: order was in BEFORE APRIL 16th 2007????!!! :

(Actually, this must be exactly what my dealer rep was referring to about a week ago when he said he "lost his inventory" 'cause they had to fill the Premiere orders first.)

Well, that letter is the same announcement they made on their website about deliveries back in Feb. on the 22nd. Here is a copy off their site:

CAN-AM SPYDER ROADSTER DELIVERY DATES

To clarify the Can-Am Spyder roadster shipping/delivery schedule, BRP has released the following information:

1. Customers with pre-orders received by BRP by July 15, 2007 – dealers will receive delivery of the "Premiere Edition" by March 31, 2008

2. Customers with pre-orders received by BRP from July 16, 2007 to September 17, 2007 – dealers will receive delivery of the "Premiere Edition" by April 30, 2008

3. Customers with pre-orders received by BRP from September 18, 2007 to present until further notice – dealers will receive delivery by May 31, 2008 (not "Premiere Edition" Spyder roadsters)

4. All pre-orders received by BRP (for the semi-automatic sequential electronic transmission SE5) by January 29, 2008 – dealers will receive delivery in September 2008

5. All new pre-orders (for semi-automatic sequential electronic transmission SE5) after January 29, 2008 – dealers will receive delivery in November 2008 until further notice.
