• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

PPA wheel owners - are you satisfied with them? Their finish and quality?

OK .. I pretty much decided I'm going to get a set of wheels sooner than later. I was on the fence between 15" and 16", but am opting for 15"s. That said, for those who own PPA wheels, are you satisfied with them? How would you rate the finish and quality? They sure do look good :) Thanks for experienced input.

Thanks for the link. Any newer updates? Black/Machined Widows are looking really good :)

I purchased mine in 2017, soon as Sean released the black version for my RT and moved them to the F3. I think it compliments the Spyder very well.

PPA 15 inch widow, black with machined face. No problems with finish, been about a year of use so far.

Just got my 15 inch Orbs last week and couldn't be happier. I think the black and machined finish reall adds a more aggresive look.

Replaced the 15 inch black wheels on my 2015 RT-S with PPA 15 inch chrome wheels and am very pleased with the quality. I'm not a stealth fan and a black machine with black wheels and black saddle was just too much. It now sports some Wrap My Spyder red and silver accents and spectacular (my opinion of course) chrome front wheels.

I have these a well, very happy with them for both quality & looks!
The 1 thing to be aware is that the hub hole is to small to hook up the laser equipment if you were thinking of getting an alignment down the road.
I just borrowed and oem set from a buddy when I had my alignment done...

Yeah make sure you get laser aligned before you put these on if you cant borrow any. I saw on another post that Squared Away has an extra set of wheels to swap out for this reason.

15, but has her eye on some 16’s!

Dang you !! :) Now I'm back on the fence with the 16" phantom black Recluse's. If I go that route, I need to wait a bit longer to accumulate more toy funds. Tough choice between 15" black/machined Widows and the 16" phantom black Recluse's. I really dig the center hole look of the Widow. :( AAARRGGGHHH

Something to consider is that the tires are part of the suspension. Larger wheels means lower profile tires. Lower profile means less flexibility to absorb bumps and potholes.

Yup ... Been considering all of that. Plus, the 15" wheel is 5.5" wide versus OEM/PPA 16" wheels 5" width. This will also help reduce sidewall flex a bit, yet retain some height between tire/wheel. As of now, I'm 90% on the Widow :)

I like the one on the left. Widow seems to just stand out more.
