• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Power source under the seat??

I found the power lead under the seat of my F3 and my question is:: Is it stout enough to handle a heated gear module or do I need to run to the battery??? It looks like it will work,, but I just want to make sure.. Thx

Not sure..!!

may hold but may not on extended use. The best is running it direct with its own inline fuse. Jmo and :agree:

All heated gear comes with an in line fuse these days.. It doesn't say the load limit in the owners manual so I would assume it would hold or there would be an exception in the manual or on the tag.. I was Lookin for a definitive answer not a guess.. Thx guys..

fuse

Would the ampage of the fuse give a good clue? eg if 5 amp hmm if 20 amp should be good to go ?? just an idea - I think I read somewhere on this forum that the 3 "customer" power outlet places all go to the same fuse... not sure though

I run my heated vest off of that outlet plus the GPS and J&M radio off the same circuit. No problems. The auxiliary circuit is fused 10 amps and is the same circuit for all the auxiliary power locations: the frunk, under the left access cover and under the rear seat cushion.
