Wednesday 1/4/23

:thumbup:...Well yesterday's weather was just the best ever. We had 63°F and just a wee bit of sunshine through the clouds. Yes, like most of you, the first days of January have been wet. Given the choice of Rain or Snow, my option has been 'I go with the rain'. Sorry about that you Sledding Friends.

Hopefully those that want the 'white stuff' will eventually get all that you need to have a Good Time. How about that?
I know most of the USA is extremely short on rain, so hopefully we will see the lakes this year.
I definitely want to enjoy some 'lake time'.


High today of 46°F with some sunshine. Low of 32°F. Currently I have 44°F

10 day forecast calling for temps in the mid 30*s, which is about 8-10* above normal. Getting to the coldest part of winter and not too bad.

Crappy in southern WI. We had just enough snow from 12/23 - 12/27 to open up the snowmobile trails. I got about 20 hrs of grooming in and then it decided to go up to 50*. Now the snow is gone, and drizzle and fog have been the norm for the last couple weeks with temps in the mid 30's. Not warm enough, and not cold enough either. The weather guessers are saying we might see the sun next week..?? For now, it's mud and fog season in these parts....

Thursday 1/5/23

...This has been a long and busy week and it's not Friday. I guess the New Year does that to me. Just going to take everything in and enjoy the Day.
The wife says 'stop and smell the roses' then get on with Life. Currently 35°F with clouds and a wee bit of moonlight.

Today the local weather people are saying snow. Hopefully just a lite dusting.
High of 37°F with clouds and some snow showers in the afternoon.
Low of 29°F.

First Friday 1/6/23

....Welcome to Friday's weather news from Indiana, currently 32°F. Yesterday's weather was great for us. The snow showers were very nice but we didn't really get anything to stick on the ground. ....:yes:

I hope you that enjoy the snow get what you need for your enjoyment. That's a good thing. My Tip...... 'Snow is pretty to see but a pain to drive'.

Today's high will be about 36°F with some clouds. Low of 23°F. Enjoy your Day and Stay Warm.

Friday's almost gone for us here in South Oz, and it was a bewdiful clear & sunny day in the mid 30's (degrees C) with about 40% humidity; we're expecting a sunny & clear day reaching the high 30's tomorrow, pushing on into the low 40's for Sunday, then the expected temps look like staying there for the coming week.... So I'll be aiming to get in a bunch of early morning or late evening/after sunset rides next week! :thumbup:

Might even take the Child Bride out for a couple of late-night rides to take in the sights of the rising floodwaters along the Murray River - there's some good lookouts over the river only about an hour or so away and it should look pretty speccy under the light of the Full Moon hyea:

Weekend Weather 1/7/23 - 1/8/23

Welcome to the First Weekend of 2023, currently 26°F. We are having some wonderful sunshine and blue skies. I have frost on the truck windshield. So I will have to clean the windows before I can do a few things this morning.

So no snow on the ground. Nothing is forecast in the near future. Just going to have a slow gentle day. Enjoy your time and call your friends and family. Helps keep you up to date and make you feel better too.

High today of 36°F with sunshine. Low of 26.
Sunday's high is 36°F with sunshine, low of 25°F.

The weather for the first weekend of 2023 is just about perfect here in the desert S.W. The high today will be 70. Humidity is at 35% and there is a 5 MPH breeze. There are a few high wispy clouds in the beautiful blue sky. Stay safe..... Jim

...Welcome back from your Weekend, currently 29°F in Indiana. Did you see and enjoy the 'full moon'?? It was actually on Friday night but we enjoyed it Saturday night too.

Tuesday 1/10/23

....Good Morning and Welcome to Indiana local area Weather News. Currently 36°F with some clouds. Going to be a beautiful dry day with some sunshine. No snow on my lawn. However, the grass is a pale green. The normal color for the winter season. No I am not wanting to get out there early and cut some grass. I let someone else have the fun now.

Today it's going to warm up a little bit. High of 48°F with clouds and maybe some wind. Low of 36°F.
I will try to enjoy the Day. Maybe get some of the 'honey do's' project finally finished. The list never ends because that's just the way it works. .....:gaah:

The temps in VT. today were in the 30's, cold. (Off topic, We only have a dusting of snow on the ground, it is almost mid January).

Starting Thursday and into the weekend, they are forecasting rain and temps in the 40's and near 50.

...This morning it is very foggy till 10am. Currently 45°F with clouds. Weather People are saying that we will have some rain today and snow showers tonight. Remember that we are still in the season for winter. Freezing rain showers, snow and Yes, some bitter cold temperatures. ....:gaah:

High today only 46°F with off and on all day rain. Low of 31°F and some snow showers.
