Here in my part of Oz, we're expecting mid 40's (°C) tomorrow & for the coming weekend; followed by more of the same next week, only with a high risk of damaging thunderstorms thrown in... Just when we thought all the rain'd stopped for a while too, and things could finally start to dry out a bit! :banghead: But on the bright side, things are growing pretty well this summer, and so far, it's all been too wet for any really bad bushfires... hyea:

Friday 1/13/23

.....Welcome to the Friday's edition of Weather News. Currently 34°F with clouds. Calling for some snow showers this morning. So far nothing has come to my local area. Yesterday's rain was excessive but they say we needed it. Received almost an inch of rain. I had several puddles of water in my backyard.

High today 36°F maybe get a little snow. Low of 26°F.

Beautiful Blue skys here in the desert S.W. Todays' high will be 75. Humidity is at 29% and there is no wind. The overnight low will be 46. I have a dental appointment scheduled for the middle of this afternoon. Rotten timing. Messes up a perfectly good day. The heavy rains that have been hitting California have moved east well north of us. Looks like that may change in a few days. Time will tell. Stay safe..... Jim

Weekend Weather 1/14/23 - 1/15/23

:yes:...Today was a very nice sunny day and I just wanted to enjoy the time. Currently 25°F with night sky and lots of stars to see. I hope you had a great time with good weather.

Today's high 32°F sunshine, looked good but still cold.
Low of 23°F.

Sundays high 41°F with some clouds. Low of 32°F.
Try and stay warm and enjoy some family time.

Monday 1/16/23

:chat:....Welcome back from the weekend, currently 36°F with some clouds. Yesterday was a beautiful sunny day with lots of blue sky. Man oh man some wonderful football games were enjoyed by the family and me. Glad to hear that the Buffalo player was up and about.

Today is M L KING JR DAY. Some people have the day off. The school kids have it as vacation day. Enjoy your Day and Ryde if you're able.

Today it's going to be a rainy afternoon.
High of 43°F with clouds, low at 42°F.
I will try and stay safe and warm.

Did I say SNOW------ well yes I did and we have more today into tonight. Local ski resort ( Mt. Rose /Ski Tahoe) now reports over 300" this season( so far, Thats 25 FEET ) My snowblower is tired and almost 30 years old. Its been modified, well maintained, and used a lot. Have a backup for peace of mind though.

No snow here in Indiana. Just got over an inch of rain today. Google says that 1" of Rain equals 10" of Snow.

Wednesday 1/17/23

...Well folks it was a very rainy day yesterday, got 1.3 inches. Currently 47°F with clouds. No snow on the ground here in Indiana. Overall this has been somewhat of a crazy winter season for Indiana.

Today we will have 49°F with clouds. Low of 31°F

HI Everyone,

A winter weather advisory was issued tonight( Jan. 17th) until Jan 18th @ 7:00pm. They are forecasting a mixed precipitation is expected.Total snow and sleet accumulation of up to One inch and Ice accumulation of up to one tenth of an inch. Plan on areas of slippery conditions especially during the evening commute. Additional details A band of light wintry Precipitation will continue to spread across Northern New York, and parts of Vermont late this afternoon and become intermittent overnight, before tapering off to valley rain and mountain snow showers on Wednesday.

The current temp is 31 degrees.
Then on Thursday and into Friday they are forecasting 4 to 8 inches of snow. Which we need( as of today the snowmobile trails are still closed due to lack of snow, and we are half way the January. So hopefully in February we get a Nor Easter).

Wednesday 1/18/23

...Here's to all you Ski and Sled People, let it snow. I hope you get what you need for your enjoyment. Currently 37°F, with standing water in the yard.

High today only 42°F with clouds, and then rain in the forecast for for this afternoon. Low of 36°F with rain showers overnight.

It's currently 44 degrees here in the desert S.W. Today's high will be 56 and the overnight low will be 37. Both high and low are about 10 degrees below normal. It is sunny and dry though. The last 3 or 4 days have had off and on rain. Looks like we will have this cool and dry weather for the next 10 days. Stay safe..... Jim

I sat in front of the shop and watched about a dozen robins hopping around the yard this morning, while I was drinking my coffee.

I hope this is a sign of what is coming real soon.

Thursday 1/19/23

...I have been seeing robins/birds in my local area since January 2, 2023. I don't use 'lawn chemicals' on any of my yard, so the birds can have an 'organic meal'.
Currently 49°F with clouds and rain. Yesterday we received about a half inch of rain. This year has been somewhat crazy for weather.

Today high will be 51°F with clouds and a little rain shower.
Low of 31°F. Still no snow on the ground but maybe get some snow showers tonight.
Remember to dress for your local area weather.

Here in Vermont,they are forecasting a snowstorm, Yea!!!!!! (Sled time maybe) they are saying 5- 8 inches in the valleys,and more in the mountains( Yea!!!). The day time highs in the 30's and night time lows in the 20's.

The weekend will be quite,and cloudy, we will get more snow( Yea!!!!). On Sunday we will get more snow, which will continue into Monday( YEA!!!!!!).



Then an other storm system will impact the area mid week. The temps will be turning colder( YEA!!!!)( off topic Sled time :yes::yes

Finally Friday 1/20/23

:clap:...Well another Friday and Indiana weather is going to be lousy. Currently clear sky and 30°F. Yesterday we had some good sunshine and 52°F. Oh, some late afternoon rain showers too. Received about a half inch of rain. The yard has standing water areas that are frozen due to the temperatures.

Today's numbers are 34°F and 27°F.
Got most of my outdoor stuff done. I will wait for another warm day to finish.

The weather people are saying that the temperatures are going to be colder the next few weeks. Currently clear sky and 30°F. Still no snow on the ground. It will be working on indoor projects for a few days. Maybe even get to watch a Football game.

Today it's 34 °F with clouds and low of 28°F.

Monday 1/23/23

:chat:...Welcome back from the Weekend, currently 30°F here in Indiana. We have a little bit of snow on the ground from Saturday's snow showers. It was a very wet snow.
Once the temperatures got to 38°F some of it melted away.

Today we will have a cold start with clouds and a little sunshine. High of 32°F and low of 28°F.
Weather News People are saying that we will have some snow showers later this week. Oh well, this is the winter season for Indiana.
