• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Plowing snow effortlessly

Does it have a Honda engine? ;)
Mine does, and it just keeps on rolling.
I change the oil at the start of each Season, and it seems to stay happy.

Look at the Black "Metal Thingie", that sits above where you don't want to put your hands when it's running...
If you see:
H O N D A
anywhere on it; there's a good chance that it was built by Honda... :D

...Unless it's got a Briggs & Stratton engine...

I cannot find a name plate on any of the "exposed" engine parts. They have this machine pretty much covered up with tupperware. If I get to the point where I have to do an "operation," I will look further.

How would I check to see if the engine is Honda?

That's easy, Honda is very proud of there stuff and they charge for it, probably worth the extra cost.
If it's a Honda they will have their name in big bold letters someplace it can be seen without taking it apart

I just took a look at Troy-Bilt's website...
They're calling them "Troy-Bilt" engines now. :dontknow:
My guess: they're buying engines from an outside supplier, and slapping their own name on them now.
There might be some info in the owner's manual...
My apologies for not checking this out sooner. :opps:

Oh;that's right
Your Mom wouldn't allow you to play with them.

You might... :D

...poke your eye out! :roflblack::roflblack::roflblack::roflblack:

I think that I'd prefer this setup anyway...
