Just back from a week in Murphy in southwestern NC. Fall colors were peaking, especially at 3500 - 4000 feet on the Cherohala Skyway. Weather was perfect, and NC has some of the best maintained roads in the country. Here's a few pix for those unable to make the journey...:thumbup:

Beautiful pictures and glad you had pretty weather. We were up to the SITS rally and even though we had a great time and met many wonderful people it was unusally hot for that time of the year. By the way I think we have 5 or so spyders in St. Auguustine maybe more. Maybe we ccould put out the call for everyone to show up at coffee somewhere.

If you plan breakfast late enough on a Saturday the Florida Xpress and others might be interested in attending too. A planned ride might work out nice also. Let me know if your interested and arrangements can be made, even if it's not a Bob Evans. Right Forrest?

He**, yeah! I'm thinking breakfast at Manny's in Bunnel. That's roughly halfway between us. Manny's moved from its original oceanfront location in Flagler Beach a few months ago due to economy. They'd appreciate the business and I would enjoy shaking Spyder hands. Saturdays could be problem, though, depending on Gators schedule. But we can work something out. Great proposal!
