• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Pipe Brand and Miles on it

O.K. Seeing a trend that hindle holds up as I thought it would, I'm getting to the point where considering any "packed" will not hold up to the heat and pulse of the:spyder:. So lyes a new question any other baffled pipes other than Hindle.

I tryed NMN's 90% pipe and Micron. Put 1,500 miles on it. It stayed the same as far as sound, but was too loud. When I took off I noticed that it was dented in by rubbing on the parking brake bracket. I put on the Warrior can on (5,000 miles) whitch I love, looks sound everything. I made the mounting bracket for it. Again it wanted to hit the parking brake bracket. So I had to put a little bend in the bracket. It seems that the 90% pipe's bend needs to be bent a little more than 90% to clear the P/B bracket. This also causes the 90% pipe to be at a slight angle where it goes on the header pipe.

Does anyone know if the 90% pipe can be straightened out a little? Has anyone else had this problem with the 90% pipe? Maybe mine was just a little over bent in manufacture.:dontknow:

I've heard of warrior can any help on finding it # or vendor?

It's a BIG stock muffler (that requires modifications) from a Yamaha / Star Warrior 1700cc cruiser. See page three of my "Now mine..." thread for pics. There is no glass or ceramic packing... it quietens the noise by routing the exhaust through multiple chambers... like a car muffler... and probably the stock Spyder.
