• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

How can you tell when it is time to replace front shocks?

My wife has 75K miles on her 2016 F3-T and I have 65K on my 2017 F3-Ltd, we have never put shocks on our bikes. But we have noticed that the bumps get rougher now, and my wife has just lost both mirror covers (found the cover for the right side, no luck with the left side) after hitting a pot hole on the highway.
So two questions, what brand shocks should we be looking at, and where is the best place to find another mirror cover (black)?

What about the KYB Shocks that came on my F3S?
When I was looking at the differences of the F3 & the F3S, BRP brochure said the F3S had better shocks. IDK.
I've got just shy of 14k on the machine and they seem to be ok. Maybe leaning a bit more when cornering, but bumps, dips, and whatever else I've encountered seems ok. I ain't no suspension pro that's for sure. I am considering a new Elka or Wilber for the rear. I'm 6'-1" at 230, and I think I'm maxing out my rear shock.
We're talking about fronts though. My front KYB' s do have a way to adjust spring tension. The rear doesn't.
I know BAJARON'S has do dad's that can go on the fronts to make adjusting the spring rate easier. I'd hate to go through all that only to find out a better shock would have been a better idea. My current shocks look like new. No leaks, and the shafts are super clean and rust free.
There are a good number of options out there. It's hard to know which way to go because there is no reasonable way to try before you buy. But with 14K on your current shocks, they should still be in good condition. If they are KYB's, they should have spring preload adjusters built in.
