• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Persnickety Harely Riders

Been called a few things--but a Harley Basher? :roflblack::roflblack:

My comments were to the OP and what they heard concerning their specific situation.

Have never made comments about any group as a whole. There are good and bad in every brand, what they ride is their business, what they think about my ride(s) is not an issue.

Peace :bowdown:

Sorry - wasn't attacking and didn't mean to come across that way, I was responding to other's comments . I rode a Kawasaki Vulcan Voyager for years and over time decided that most of my fellow riders were HD wannabes. If I owned Harley, I would be happy and amused about how the rest of the biking world assumes Harley riders look down their noses at other bikes. For most of us, we all enjoy riding and admire other's bikes.

One item I agree with you on is that the Spyder seems to get exceptionally dirty. All bikes show dirt, but the back of the RT seems to attract it like nothing I've ever ridden. I have the trailer hitch with the additional mudflap, and it doesn't seem to make any difference.

Harley riders

First off you have the fastest color and the mudflat that a sponsor of this board works. Sounds like a great trip good luck fixing your ride

We took my new 2015 RT limited on our first long trip, a little over 4,500 miles in 2 weeks.

Hey there. I don't have anything to add about HD riders but I am really curious about your setup. Can you give me some details on your rig, what your towing, and how you planned your overnight stays?
Looks like an awesome time. The wife and I are planning a similar trip around the Canadian side of the Great Lakes up into Maine and back so I would love to get some info. (maybe a separate thread or personal message)
Thanks.
