• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Patriot Guard Windshield Banner attachment

I have been trying to figure out the best way to place the 6 x 24 (guessing on the dimensions) PGR banner across the windshield on my RT.

I finally decided to make inquiry to the experts here, I know that there are other PGR members here, and perhaps I could profit from your experience.

Thank you in advance,
Joe :chat:

My wife and I haven't figured it out either. We put a flagpole on the trailer hitch.

I rode with the PG for about a year until my back couldn't do the standing. I placed the banner across the outside of the windshield with the bottom edges tucked under the chrome window trim. there is just enough room. Then on the side edges I used those clamp type office document holders (two each side). finally i used two very tiny bungie cords stretched across behind the windshield connecting the holes in the banner. I hope this helps.

I do the same exact thing, those clips he mentioned are binder clips, I got mine in silver and they don't show as much. If you try and go over the windshield brackets it creeps up and pops loose, I also lower the windshield a little so no vision obstruction. I also have the Rivco flag holders that bolt to the trunk and hold the 6"x9" flags.

I have seen many bikes spyder or not using the above mentioned binder clips:firstplace: allows for EZ adjustment pre & post escort, most do not use at highway speeds fyi, some also use small bungee cords & the clips (double secure) I chose the decal as I look right over my windshield anyway

PGR banner

I just use the small bungies. I did go through shopping a number of them to get one small enough to
provide enough tension to not "lose it". Mine stays in place easily at Highway speeds(70-80).

Decided to put it across the top of the frunk with and placed a 6" strip of Velcro underneath on booth sides and on the banner, had it up to 73 mph without any problems. Never could find a good way to put on the windshield especially with my camera mounted behind the windshield.

Thanks,
