Thanks For Your PGR Support!!
Wow.. since 1906, pretty awesome... :roflblack:, I know it was a typo -- just joking!!
Good point about it being the family's first -- it's all about paying respect to the fallen soldier and his/her family! I went on my 2nd PGR mission yesterday @ Arlington National Cemetery so I don't have much experience on the matter; however, we setup a salute formation at the funeral home while the veteran was being placed in the hearse. After the escort to ANC, we staged another salute formation on the curb before and after the grave site ceremony. We had a total of 5 PGR members and and I was the only :spyder2: ryder.
Like everyone else, I get asked questions about the Spyder everywhere my wife and I go and ANC was no exception. After the grave site ceremony finished, several family members came by to shake are hands and thanks us for our support! Two or three of them were asking about the Spyder as the approached our line. Honestly, I never expected that!
Thanks Oldmanzues for your awesome support for PGR misisons. Now that I've joined and done a few missions, I plan to follow your lead and support as many as I can. Living in Northern VA, so close to ANC, I'm sure I'll get a chance to participate in quite a few. There are 3 more missions scheduled for the remainder of the month!

The PGR is the most emotional thing, I have ever done. I joined in FEB 1906, right after it started. I keep the Mission sheets for mission I have been on. A couple years ago, I counted mission sheets, something, I said, I would never do. I counted to 254 and quit. More to go then and now. the mission sheet was counted as one, even if if was KIA mission with more then one day or a Welcome home with one day. Please do remember, it may your first or 100 mission or more, but it is that familys first.
Thank all of you for what you do.
I have a question. Answer here or by PM. Do you do a "Final Salute" at he service or the graveyard ?
