• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Panel removal

I purchased the GearBrake brake lite flasher for the wife's new 2012 RT limited. The only install instructions say to remove left rear quarter panel. That's it. :banghead::banghead:

I searched this forum and the WWW & could not find how to access that panel. Can one of you gurus help? Thanks...Rich

I just installed one of these on my '14 RT. The wires connect under the panel for the left passenger hand grip. I raised the seat and removed the screw for the hand grip. I also took the screw out for the lower left side panel that is in front of the hand grip. I also removed the screws for the left panel that are behind the left saddlebag cover. I was able to slide the hand grip out enough to make the connection. Otherwise you will need to remove the left mirror, air deflector, upper left panel and lower left side panel.
If you have more questions please send me a pm.

Ty KngFsh. I think my wife will freak out if i have to strip the whole left side to install the flasher. Will look at your idea before i take it to the dealer....Rich

See my video in the DIY forum for installing 2nd and 3rd break lights. I show how to remove the panel.
