• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Owners Event Location....Hmmmm

Thanks for posting the information.

I had to blow this one up to 300%. :roflblack::roflblack:

Here's what I am getting.

:ani29:: There will be a special owners event in Valcourt in 2017. 10th Anniversary.

:ani29:: There will be no single event in 2015. There will be 7 events attended with sponsorship and support by BRP.

:ani29:: Event organizers need to get their information in to BRP to be considered as one of the 2015 events.

I think you got the jist of it.
I am really disappointed that BRP is "dividing" up our community. Yes we are getting bigger, but when you do 7 separate events you are not achieving the "we are one" type of attitude. Our own community is starting to put out their own events across the country: central US has Spyderfest, west coast has Spyders in the Redwoods, and the east coast has SpyderQuest. If Spyders in the Smokies becomes a yearly event then the southeast is covered. All that's needed is a southern (or southwest) event and a northern one.
The one company event that happens yearly to pull all Spyder owners together is still something that should happen. I know Spyderfest has become a huge event, but it's roots come from right here, Spyderlovers, and that remains to be the core of the people that attend it and the best event around...primo...awesome....!
The owners event pulls people in that only hear about an event if BRP hosts one. That is a huge group too that will not the same group that comes to Spyderfest. The crossover is rather a small core group. That ONCE yearly event pulled both groups together...you got to meet a whole different group of riders.
I wish BRP luck with this new venture, BUT....
