• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. :chat: Well,as we are nearing midnight (he, he, he) and the promise of an announcement from BRP after New Years, where will the 2015 Owners Event be.....Maggie Valley, stick with Durango or try something new like South Dakota? Where, oh where will it be?!!!!

Butch and I are seriously hoping for a midwest location like South Dakota. They have all the venues needed for our event, lots of great roads and beautiful scenery. With our event taking place in June there wouldn't be as much congestion yet, especially since Sturgis isn't until August.

Come on BRP leak out a little info.....please.......

Time to head East!

I think that the reason they are taking so long to announce it, is that they are trying to find a suitable place in the Northeast this year.

Waiting...!!

Ahhh..!! The wait. They will be back from vacation the 5th so maybe some time after that. They are doing some reorganizing within and my delay this though not a good idea if they want a good turn out. Many have to pick thier time off now...and there are many events to choose from...:popcorn:

Last I heard it is going to be in Tucson, AZ. They are just firming up the location in the "old Pueblo" as we speak.

Hope it is not more than ten miles from my house.

Utah

Southern Utah has a lot of great places within a few hours of riding. Bryce Canyon National Park, Zion's National Park, HWY 12 Hog's Back, Cedar Breaks National Monument, Lake Mead and Lake Powell, Hoover Dam, and Vegas is only an hour and a half away. If you haven't been to all of those places you better put them on your bucket list. Just those places mentioned would take up a weeks worth of riding. Lots of accommodations in St. George as well. Quite a few Spyder Ryders in this area as well. And a dealership to help out in our city.

Grand Canyon

Forgot to mention that the north rim of the Grand Canyon is only a two hour ride away from St. George as well. Its a great day trip. I've been to both the north and south rim. Both offer equally beautiful scenery and views. Its about like comparing the Atlantic and Pacific Oceans. I'm so lucky to live in an area that offers so much.

LOL LOL

Well, at the Durango event they indicated the next one would be in the northwest woods. WA or OR.

Yep at Durango they also, with GREAT conviction, stated they would announce before end of year (Dec. 2014!!!)...so based on the "truth" in that statement...I am taking the WA/OR comment as 'yea right'...whatever. Only thing I know for sure: They will do what they want..it is their event.:popcorn:

Most all the locations mentioned so far would be good. I like the idea of moving it around yearly though. Some year...they may have it where I don't have to drive for a week or more just to get there. :roflblack:

They should hold the next Owners Even in Alaska so Alaskans don't have to drive a week to get there (at least for one event anyway! :2thumbs:

I have to admit I like your idea. But, I am biased for sure. The big inconvenience would be for all the "outsiders" who would then have to drive for a week to get here. My suggestion for Alaska--join up with the North to Alaska ride this summer.

OK, it's the 7th of January in the new year. Anybody heard anything about an owner's event for this year?

At the end of the GWRRA's Wing Ding they start taking reservations for their event the next year and disclose the location.

Come on BRP, get it together and let us know the location of the Spyder Owner's event 2015!

I was looking back through the forum... Wasn't it around Jan 25th when the 2014 Durango Event location was "leaked"? With official announcement a day or two later?
We may still have a couple more weeks of waiting. :banghead:
