• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

What routes are you taking?
Why not go due West on some of the scenic routes into New York, and then dive more South? It'd take longer, but the scenery should be better...
If you're heading toward Memphis; why not take a turn NorthWest form there, and head toward the Dakotas? The summer heat shouldn't be quite as interesting...

Just a thought... and it's more MY wishlist than anybody elses! :D

most of the times we leave we go thru upper NY this time we are doing the state capital first so we have to run south are cooling vest work great

2014 trip

I live in Oregon but work construction and I am in Gillette WY. now. The Black Hill are something not to miss if at all possible just don't' go during bike week near Sturgis 1st week August . It's like New Orleans during Mardi Gras. Some of the best riding I have ever seen and I have been in all the lower 48 . Custer State Park SD. is a must .

Tough one..!!

so much to see so many places to go and how much time do you have left at that point.?? Cicling back up and around to get back home would be the way to go. How far west you could go would depend on your time. It's like a boat never go out further than half a tank you'll need the other half to get back..:roflblack: Wherever you do go it will be a great trip..enjoy it..!! :ohyea::ohyea::ohyea:

Side trip

A nice side trip as you come south on 81, take 52 north out of Bluefield WV. This is the Heritage Coal Trail, a lot of history and nice mountain roads through some mining communities. Take 119 to Pikeville Ky at Williamston WV this area is home to the famous Hatfield and McCoy feud lot of history here too. There are about 5 rides that take you to points of interest on the Hatfield and McCoy Trail. Stop by Pikeville Harley Davidson for maps and details.

From there you can drop back down to 81. Don't forget Beal Street in Memphis.

Have fun and safe trip.
