• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Oops! Out of Dash Mount Systems for the moment!

I had some fun today with my GoPro camera trying to sort out how it works while I was making Dash Mount Bars.

I just added a new option to the Dash Mount Bar, Chrome Powder Coating. Here is a batch cooling off right out of the powder coat oven.

Very cool, you have nice products!
I agree. I love my JT Dash Mount kit. Use it on almost every ride. I've got my smartphone mounted to mine with the RAM X-Mount that JT supplied, as well as a waterproof 12V power receptacle to keep the phone (or anything else) charged. That's also where I plug in my Battery Tender.

I have a Samsung Note 2....5.5 inch screen. If I mount in portrait mode (up and down) will I run into any issues? Can mount in landscape but the GPS software that I use works better in portrait mode.

I have my Garmin Zumo 550 which is pretty tall over all mounted with the medium B Arm and there is plenty of clearance. What is the total height of the Note 2?

I finally got a good supply of brushed stainless steel Dash Mounts in stock. These are laser cut and very nice!

Opps, I ran out of the Dash Mounts - http://gnipsel.com/spyderstore/index.php?route=product/product&product_id=50
I have more in production, and they should be back in stock soon. I was quite unprepared for the volume of sales. I've also added the Ram short arm as an option, and they will be in stock shortly. I just wanted to let everyone know I'll have them back in stock ASAP.

Thanks
JT

JT, have you ever tried to build dash mounts for RS? I have a 2012 RS and I'm trying to come up with places for a bluetooth speaker and a video monitor for a rear-view camera.

thanks Gunner 02

I looked at the RS but didn't see anyplace to mount one. Do you have any ideas?

This what I did. I build a "mount" and using nuts and bolts on the piece above the safety card.
