• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

What is the best windshield for you and your Spyder F3 Touring and Limited:

F4 Customs

The Spyder F3 Touring and Limited from Can-Am comes with a short 12” windshield however as we know not all windshield heights and widths are right for you.

The stock shield is short and even though it has a re-curve at the top, the rider sits so far back from the shield that it just can’t protect the rider and co-rider. The air is deflected so far forward from your sitting position that it comes back around and hits the rider making for a windy ride. Also if you ride with a ½ or ¾ helmet and you are a taller rider, it will feel like the wind is getting up and under the helmet pulling it up on your head.

F4 Customs Inc. manufactures three different heights, 21”, 23” and the 25” tall shields. These are also wider than the stock model. Why you ask: Well you might want to move that air out and around both you and the co-rider and this 26” wide shield gets the job done. Also the shape and dynamics of the shield moves the air up and over your head and around you.

Now Tint or Clear you ask: If you ride a lot at night and you look through the shield then clear is the best however if you ride just occasionally at night and can look over the shield then the Tint is a great option. It also cuts down on daytime glare from the sun and on coming headlights at night.

Do I really want or need a vent in my windshield? Vents are for getting more air flow to the rider and reducing the back pressure on the rider and co rider. F4 Customs uses a 5 position vent that allows you to modify the amount of air coming through or shut it off completely.
