• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Starbucks is so left wing, I won't shop there. Looks like PETA won't shop there either.:lecturef_smilie:

i never liked Starbucks, but like i just told the people that see it's throat slit, could you imagine if they showed him neutered

Burnt coffee??

I refuse to go into a bucks. My simple cup of coffee with a shot of Baileys Irish cream is better than the expensive burnt tasting swill they sell at just silly prices .

i hate Starbucks coffee. i used to drink it because my ex loved it. but she only loved it till i refused to buy it one day, so she had to pay for it. when she realized how expensive a cup was, she stopped drinking it

They have about the worst crap; masquerading as coffee... :gaah:
And the Bear is wearing a rather nice-looking scarf... :2thumbs:

Some folks see a Parade; they can't help wanting to piss on it... :banghead:

I am starting to wonder about some of you here!
:D If that's not a scarf I'll eat it and have a Latte' with it. Being a 40 year resident of Seattle and Bainbridge Is. I grew up (or out) on Starbucks and love it. You would have to have lived in Seattle to understand the culture of coffee. I knew Howard Shultz the founder of Starbucks and admire his savvy for business. When in Hong Kong, Singapore. Seoul or any other country in the world you could always find a Starbucks and a little bit of home. :sour:

Howard is back running the business now and doing a great job. Personally my favorite tasting Seattle coffee company was Seattle Best. It was bought out by another conglomerate.

I always figured the taste of Starbucks coffee was a NW regional thing. Just does not suit my taste. To me, all their coffees taste burnt. The beans roasted far beyond flavor peak. I will never question their business acumen though, they sell a lot more coffee than I do.

I get my Kenyan beans from a local bulk importer and have them roasted to my specification. Medium city roast is what we settled on. I can always tell if they roast them too far as they get oily just past my preferred point.

Coffee is much like motor oil I suppose. Lots of different tastes.

Oh, and I saw the red scarf as well. My brain just assumed it was a happy cookie for the holidays. Glass half full sort of viewpoint.
