• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

ok all you deer hunters

That would scare you if you were not expecting it. Translate that to moose or grizzly bear and Oh Boy! :roflblack:

:lecturef_smilie: That's one of the FIRST things we tell our stufents when approaching downed game...
If the eyes are closed; get ready for an, "Oh CRAP" moment!
(When they die; everything relaxes, and their eyes will be open...)

miss hunting

i really miss hunting, i did it for more years than i care to remember but since my feet starting going bad on me and freezing up on me i had to stop. but when ever i shot one i would always wait a few min's for a smoke and to see if the deer moved b4 i went to it. and if i got there and saw any type of movement bullets are cheap or at least were so one more never hurt me.

We'd tell 'em, "Grab a stick, and poke the animal right in the eye...Nothing alive will put up with much of that!"

Had some run after I shot them and had to trail them, but never had one get up and run. I did have one kick like :cus: when I walked up. That one was a big mule deer. Had to put a 38 round in his head. I learned early that you approach one from the back, kick it in the spine, and stand back.

That scene from Powder makes you think.
