• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

So I am using the BRP oil in my Spyder and I know they say to change it before storing it for the winter. I start my bike and run it for a few mintues every week even in the winter. It's a 2008 and only has about 5k miles on it. I know, I plan on riding much more then I have however I am on my third oil change. How often should I change it??? Should I wait till I reach milage or does age of the oil really have any effect, cause it kind of seems like a waste to change it if it's not needed. What does everyone else think??

I changed my oil/filter at 621= 3,166= 6,400= 10,600= my next one i plan on doing it at =15,000. Also i don't store it in the winter, i ride almost every day, I do recommend if you start it every week in the winter get the engine good and hot, to eliminate any moister in the crankcase and pipes/muffler. You might be better off instead of just idling in the winter ride it a little just to get all the parts moving.

I let it get up to temp and rev it a few times. Sometimes I'll take it for a small drive in the neighborhood depending on the snow.
