• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Oil Level

wow a lot of differents

there is a lot of different patterns here for checking oil , so with my 990 .9 engine :p 2012 model , I usually push it out of the garage , start it up listen for any different noise , if nothing let the cycle warm up too one bar on the temp gauge , shut it off look at the dip stick and judge how much , when I see the oil line getting near the lower section of the stick it usually takes about 4 ounces , probably close too 1000 miles ridden , if it doesn`t show on the dip stick it is 7 ounces , using a measure funnel I picked up at auto zone ! { now when I do all of this the ground is level } I guess 1000 to 1500 miles for these

You are not getting your oil warm enough! The best, and most consistent method, is to check it at the end of at least a ten mile ride. Remember the 30 second idle time. This way, your Spyder oil will be ready when you are!
