oil leak?

I'm looking at this tomm but I was wondering if anyone experienced this before. I had streams of oil in the right side lower panel. A quick look looks like it got on the radiator and fan too. Could it be from the air box...4500 miles and never cleaned it out yet? Wasn't alot by any means from what I could tell but it was never there before..thanks

I have had oil drips show up on the right side also. The fan blows it on the heat deflector. I removed all the plastic from the right side and it looks to me that it is coming from the air box.

99.99999999% chance this is from your air box (oil box as I call it).

Open it up and you'll see.

There are various solutions to this problem--- but none of them are from BRP!

When I opened my air box to put in the Green filter, I didn't have any oil buildup anywhere...

From what I am hearing, I guess I am lucky!?

I checked the air filter and there was a little oil in there not much, but it looks like it did come from there. Boy doesn't take much huh

Well I had more than a few drops.

Mine was pooling directly under the engine -- its off at the dealer for work -- lets see what they say!

Same, my can am has now got 2000 kms so i thought i would give it a good run up the mountains using the revs around 6/8000+ rpms when i got home i noticed the oil leak on the lower right side , could it be that when these things are hard ridden they breath more from the crank case. As it was never there before just riding gentle. I know that the buell breaths hevier when ridden hard:dontknow:

Yes, the harder you ride the more blow by you're going to get.

Well I had a blown O-ring on the oil return -- Its fixed and back on the streets!
