• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Oil (engine & transmission)

Is the engine oil the same oil for the semi auto transmission (SE5)? If so I guess you use the same dip stick (left side of bike) to check the one oil level ONLY ?? Just got the Spyder recently and still trying to figure it all out.

Thanks for your help, greatly appreciated

Just make sure the motor has been thorougly warmed up, preferably just after you've come in from a ride, when you check. After the machine sits for a bit, some of the oil will drain back down into the motor and the stick will then give you a false reading, and some of us have overfilled it. Keep the level 1/2 between the low and full so as not to overfill.

Oil for all

Not only the engine and trans. but the clutch as well. Keep up with oil changes filter changes (SE has trans filter as well) and use good quality oil..
