• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Hello there, since I'm forum dumb... I need help!

There has to be a thread with pictures on how to do the oil change and hcm filter change on RSS SE5. Could someone point me in that direction? I've been looking for over an hour with no such luck!
Thank you!

Here's the thing..!!

Thanks Chupaca! That is exactly what I was looking for. Do you recommend using car ramps? we have some. Or is it easier to do on the ground?

Car ramps and raising the rear so she is level will give you a higher working position. Little messier with oil splash. Though old I can still get down on the ground and prefer to fo it that way. Whatever is more confortable for you. Just make sure your level for starting and checking levels...

If they are not necessary to use then I won't mess with it. I had just read another post where they said you had to do it. Thanks for the insight, I do appreciate it! We are going to tackle this in the morning! :)

Trying to get your hand, a socket and a catch pan under the sump at the same time is a trick with the lack of ground clearance. Otherwise the only difficulty is removing the half a dozen panels required!

Oil change complete! We did it without ramps and was good to go! Removing the panels seemed to be the only issue we had:lecturef_smilie:as the manual wasn't clear on how to do it. I called Honda Toledo East where we bought the machine and the service department got their mechanic and he talked me right thru it! Kudos to them, they really have been amazing!!

THANK YOU ALL FOR YOUR HELP AS WELL!!!
