• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

OEM Battery getting weak, need a replacement for both Spyder's - what's recommended/preferred?

It started a few months back on the RTL and seems to be slow turning starter on startup, then gets to be a real struggle going after riding a bit.

If I have to do the RTL I will do the S2S at the same time just because.

Both are 2023's. Both have OEM lighting, OEM floor board lights, and the driving light at the bottom. I keep them on a NOCO Genius Multi-bank Smart Charger when not riding for a few days+. Nothing would seem to be pulling a load too hard on them.

In your opinion, what's one (or the best) replacement battery for them? I tried to research but its hard to sift through the good/bad reviews not knowing what people are running on the machines as far as extra load.

BRP started using cheap batteries during the COVID supply issues. You don't need to look for a different model for it, the proper model is YTX24HL - Yuasa Battery. You can also use a lithium battery if you want, but fitting one of them is likely to be an issue and need spacers. I don't use lithium. I just bought a better battery from Lamonster website, one with just a little more CCA amps.

Which battery did you go with? Never mind, you said it in the response...

Friend new to him 2021 RTL was cranking slow and the dealer flashed some new code into it and it start much better. Maybe the timing was to much at start up???

I had them in for service last fall, they said the RTL battery was getting weak but they quoted $300 to replace it. I figured with the tender and a portable NOCO we were good for this season. I am now looking at a longer ride farther from the house and do not want to hear about it if it decides to go.... Happy Wife...
