• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

NYC RIDE

I think I would rather poke a needle in my eye than ride in Manhattan! :yikes: I wonder if you had a yellow RT if people would mistake it for a taxi.

not really that bad if you go on a early sunday morning i usally take the gwb down the westside take six ave up to fdr back to westside then cross the gwb back ..cool scenes

I drove into Manhattan 6 days a week for 30+ years, Nothing to it, Just stay ahead of the Cabs or you'll have a lot of yellow paint added to your ride.
But why Sunday? you may want to go midday/midweek when the City is alive and jumping.!
Park [rising wolf garage] and walk around a little, Especially Times Square.

I'm a (really) small town person, and therefore inexperienced and subsequently afraid of lots of traffic while driving. However, I feel an affinity for the NYC life. I think I would like to experience that for a while. Crazy - yup, probably.

In any regard, if I could trailer my Spyder to the designated start point and trailer it off, it would be awesome.for me to drive through NYC I would love it

Riding in the city is a breeze I have done it many times and yes I have a BRIGHT yellow and no one tried to jump on take lots of photos yes they did even one cop did. When are you thinking of the ride, maybe I might be well enough to make it.

That sounds like a real adventure. There is safety in numbers though. I am a little to far away so cannot join the party.
