Well I had a phone interview this morning, which went well, so next week I've a 2nd interview.

I have a job, I start on March 4th. The company I start work at makes baby food.

I start training on March 4th, after I have completed training, I start working nights( 12 hours) three days on/ four days off. This change will be big, but Ill be ok.

Thanks for the continued support and comments that everyone has given me during this difficult time in my life.

I will continue to post on this thread when I can about how my job is going.

Once I get a routine going ( pay wise). I'll buy some farkles.

I was out of a job for a 1 month and 3 weeks. I knew I would find a job, and usually it does not take long for me to find a job, because of my work ethic, work history, job skills.

Again, I would like to say" THANKS TO EVERYONE who has helped me get thru this difficult time in my life.

Congrats on your new job - I hope you were able to negotiate some vacation time this year. The time you were between jobs wasn't a vacation since you were working trying to find a job.

Thanks! I'll talk to them on March 4th about Vacation time. Benefits: medical, dental, vision, 401K/profit sharing, and I start out with 3 weeks of Vacation. Plus a sign on bonus.

I hate to say it, but I think it gets harder as we get older. Many employers would rather hire young, ignorant and cheaper people. :sour:

Now, wouldn't it be nice if a couple of the other places you applied at will also call you? Nothing says you can't look for a better deal! :lecturef_smilie:
