I hate to say it, but I think it gets harder as we get older. Many employers would rather hire young, ignorant and cheaper people. :sour:

Now, wouldn't it be nice if a couple of the other places you applied at will also call you? Nothing says you can't look for a better deal! :lecturef_smilie:

Yea, I hear you there, as we get older, it is harder to get jobs.

Yea it would be nice if other places that I have applied at would give me a call/or email me for a better deal or more money.

Thanks, I start my new job on March 4th, training on days, then transitionsing to nights. I work nights for about a year, then back to days. The benefits are very good: medical, dental, vision, 401K/profit sharing,and 3 weeks of vacation on first day of employment.

The company that I'll be working for is in the northern part of the state. I also have an other big change to make in my life( all is good).

The 3 on and 4 days off, deal, Ill be catching up on my sleep, and other things, and riding my spyder when time is allowed. I also have an other Major life change that goes along with the new job. (All is good). Time will tell.

The new job is in the Northern part Vermont.
