• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

:agree: Wot'e said!!

Even those of us here Down Under are pulling for you Deanna! Even if it's not the present job you're going for, we're sure there WILL be the right job waiting for you out there somewhere/when; and we're all pushing good thoughts your way! It'll happen! :2thumbs:

Hi Deanna,

Re: Keep pulling for me.

I would not know you if you walked up to me, slapped me in the face & said, 'That's for the last time we were together.' :yikes:

But, I am still hoping the best for you.

It is no fun being out of work.

Hoping for you Deanna. The only thing i can tell you is don't undersell yourself. If your used to a certain standard of living stick with that figure in your head. I have undersold myself for years. A company was trying to get me so when question came up i through a super high number at them. They didn't take it which i knew they wouldn't but i'm ready to retire anyway. But the moral is experience is worth more today than a college degree. Good luck my friend.

I believe we may have met each other.
I've been in a similar position several times.

Given today's economy, I'd be optimistic.
Still, I know that's easy for me to say and the butterflies won't leave your stomach until your next paycheck.

I wish you the very best.

Yes, I have met you at SpyderQuest.

In my area, there is a lot of places that are hiring. ( Manufacturing businesses). With my work knowledge and work experience I wont have any problems finding work.
