Throw me on the pile that leaves CC on all the time and kills it with the brake pedal. If you want to kill the CC wthout rapid deceleration just roll on some throttle before nudging the brake. With practice you'll learn how much throttle you'll have to roll on for a given speed.

I leave mine on all of time also and just hit set when I want to use it. One thing I wish it had was a "Cancel" button like a car. No biggie to hit the brake pedal or turn the cruise off but a way to cancel by the button would be nice.

You turn it OFF and then immediately back ON. Of course, you lose the setting when you do that.

Mine stays ON all the time.
