Been looking over your shoulders for a while now and really appreciate the honest, friendly input on anything Spyder.
While on a visit to family in MI stopped at a Harley dealership with my son-in-law saw their trikes and remembered how much I really wanted a trike. Slow at work, went online and started looking at all things trike and landed on Can-Am's. This and other forums convinced me that I should at least try lining up a test drive. Did and fell in love. What suprised me was that the wife went along with the idea, actually toying with the idea of getting her motorcycle endorsement. The reason this is significant is the simple fact that my last motorcycle ride ended in intensive care! She made me sell that one
Long story short, I bought a RT-S, SE-5 in Timeless Black yesterday, new in the box 2010. Having GPS installed and expect to pick it up next week. It's going to be a long, long weekend. I know there is going to be a learning period but I'm really looking foreward to spending a lot of time on the hiways and byways. Should be much easier than before, I retire in three weeks.
Believe me, if I have any questions I know all I have to do is ask. Will be looking for fellow Tidewater VA riders.
