• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Hey all. I have the opportunity to buy a 2009 gs SE5 for 8600

It has 8000 miles on it. Extras are comfort seat, two brothers exhaust, taller windshield, floorboards.

Does this seem like a good deal?

If you can get the V.I.N. off of the bike; have your dealer run it, and make sure that all of the updates have been taken care of! :2thumbs:

A kind of a good deal, but at the high end for that year. Try lowballing about $1,500 and see what happens.

Also good advice about checking the service history.

Let us know how it all works out.

Sounds good...

As stated above check the records with the vin# at the local dealer. Sounds like a good GS with some nice mods. Test it out if possible and see if you like it...

Thanks for all of the feedback. I pulled the trigger. It is very nice for its age and seemed priced appropriately

Congrats - I just bought a 2009 SE5 Roadster and I'm loving it more and more every time I drive it. That's right - drive - it's not a motorcycle that you ride.;)
